In this episode, we will focus our attention on amatonormativity, or the cultural expectation that we seek romantic coupling (and, ultimately, marriage and monogamy). This demand that we find the highest fulfillment in romantic relationship exists in tandem with the demand that we experience ourselves as sexual subjects.
