S2 E20: How Disappointing...

from Autistic Licence · host autisticlicence

Trigger warning: This episode includes references to neglect and developmental trauma which some listeners may find upsetting.  It's been a while since we recorded together! In this episode we expand on our discussion about grief. Leo reflects on the loss of Woody, three months on. We then move into exploring other feelings such as disappointment and pride. We speak about the conditional meanings of these feelings in relation to other people. We contrast this with the idea of unconditional love and acceptance and wonder about how this might feel and the significance of it, particularly in light of being autistic. Molly has been at the vet's and joins us for the last 10 minutes. 🐕 We welcome your comments and feedback as always; get in touch at [email protected] 💛🧡 ----more---- LINKS Book: On Being An Autistic Therapist Nici Harrison - The Grief Space Our YouTube channel Our Facebook Our website Podcast home Our socials Get in touch at: [email protected]

The INFJ Whisperer Boom Shikha I started doing YouTube videos in August 2017 about being an INFJ, and how it took me 30-odd years of journaling, self-reflection, and self-actualization, to get to this level of understanding and love with myself. I'm an INFJ and I'm here to show you through my podcast that you are not alone, you are not crazy, you are not autistic, or a sociopath. You are just misunderstood, and the more you realize that there are others like you out there, the less alone and confused you are going to feel. You are here to fulfill a great purpose. The purpose of the INFJ is diverse, beautiful, and unicorn-like, just like you.Let me help you, through this podcast, and my YouTube channel, to help you gain a better understanding of yourself, and to become the best version of yourself as much as possible. I'm Boom Shikha on YouTube, and there are hundreds of INFJ videos on there, that are waiting for your conscious understanding. Much love!
