S2 E22 - Surviving Your Future

Wendy is sharing a story in today’s episode that hits closer to home to so many of our vulnerable seniors.  The latest Next Steps 4 Seniors: Conversations on Aging episode appropriately titled “Surviving our Future” is about a realistic and trending situation that is growing among our senior population. This episode sheds light on the growing trend of people not saving enough for their future.  The Next Steps 4 Seniors office gets calls daily from people not knowing what to do or where to turn when they have little to no funds in the bank or family to help out.  Since this was becoming a daily request, Wendy decided to start the Next Steps 4 Seniors Foundation to raise funds to help out with these requests. Tune into “Surviving Your Future” and learn how you, a family member, or a loved one can start to understand their options as they age. Next Steps 4 Seniors Foundation is a 501(c)3 that bridges the financial gap for low-income seniors in need of proper housing and care.  Through faith, hope, and love, we ensure these vulnerable seniors can live out their years with dignity and grace.
