S2: E28: Delight in the Lord

In this episode, Pastor Rhonda and Pastor Seth discuss this weeks lectionary passages. There is a heave focus on lament this week, which is so important for us to learn how to do as followers of Christ. It is out of lament that often healing and growth come and this can be an informative time for believers. Beyond that, we focus on Psalm 37. This Psalm points to a reality of focusing on that which you can control, and letting God deal with that which you can't. We can control our actions and thought processes. This Psalm says to take delight in the Lord, and when we do that, He will give us the desires of our heart. Not that we get what we want, but that our heart desires are transformed to what He desires.
