Books teach us, inform us, broaden our minds, entertain us, and at times they can provoke us. But some books plainly befuddle us. They invoke mysteries that hint of something ancient, extraterrestrial, or possibly divine. On this week’s episode we discuss some of the most intriguing, strange, mysterious, and at times hilarious texts ever discovered...some perhaps dating back as far as the 13th century. You may have heard of the “VOYNICH MANUSCRIPT” before - but, some of these ancient texts we discuss you more than likely haven’t. Books such as The Rohonc Codex and The Smithfield Decretals. We’ll go over their equally mysterious “owners”, the potential origins, theories about what they mean, and the important message with which they cryptically contain.
