S2:E31 - TOTAL NARRATIVE COLLAPSE

from Post-Orthodoxy · host The Seviers

Vanity Fair, Newsweek, Bill Maher, Dr. Sanjay Gupta, and even the CDC herself have finally started admitting all the lies and misinformation and corruption. Dr. Anthony Fauci got a National Geographic documentary, declared #SexiestManAlive by The Guardian, and now he's going to be thrown under the bus. We always have to have someone to blame. Millions of #HealthcareHeroes have been censored and cancelled, falling from #HeroToZero, because they didn't agree with the mainstream pandemic narrative. . Your friends and loved ones are about to be faced with the collapse of their religion. People who have blindly believed certain people in power, in an effort to feel safe and feel like they're doing something that matters for their community, are about to be beset on every side with the story collapsing. People are going to get angrier in an effort to defend the reality they have believed in and invested in and shut out loved ones over during the last 2 years. We can all read up on trauma, trauma support, and trauma awareness, and be prepared to be compassionate toward the very people who have used the mainstream pandemic to degrade, censor, cancel, and belittle their neighbors. People who have believed the mainstream pandemic narrative wholeheartedly are about to have to defend their beliefs even harder, or face the terrifying prospect of changing their minds. Dark and Ainsley have been through it, and we want to help.

Explicit Ear Hustle Ear Hustle & Radiotopia Ear Hustle is prison slang for eavesdropping, and that’s what listening to the show feels like: a raw, often funny, and always surprising peek into the reality of life inside prison. Hosts Nigel Poor and Earlonne Woods co-created the show that launched in 2017 while Earlonne was incarcerated at San Quentin State Prison, where Nigel was a volunteer teaching photography. Since Earlonne’s release in 2018, the show has expanded to include stories from prisons across the state, including the California Institution for Women, as well as stories about getting out of prison and starting over, post-incarceration.From finding romance, to grappling with a life sentence, to trying to parent via 15-minute phone calls, Ear Hustle stories deliver what This American Life host Ira Glass calls a “"very real” and “untragic” take on prison life. Ear Hustle is a proud member of Radiotopia from PRX, a network of independent listener-supported podcasts.
