Steve and I discuss the requirements for something to be an iconic moment. I ponder why Kirk Gibson's homerun in the clinching game in 1984 is not as well known as his Game 1 homerun in 1989. We use that example as a basis to discuss what makes a moment iconic. I ask if Freddie Freeman's grand slam will be iconic if the Dodgers lose (we now know they did not, so is it iconic?)
