S2 - E47 - The Christmas Special

The Ho Ho Holiday special is upon us, like snow on the open plains. Joining me in the manger are: Super Producer/Co-host Jared, from the show 'Nobody's Listening', where he's joined by our friends over at Lets's Play Deathray, (you can still donate to their Extra Life charity!) You can also find Jared's YouTube channel at Riley's Parrot. Mark, from The Evil Mark Show, the fastest growing sports show taking the world by storm, which you can hear each Thursday (with ME!), and each Friday, for the NFL show, with Jared. Find out more information at www.evilmark.com and check out the Twitter feed. Jake from Life Is Unfair, THE 'Malcolm In The Middle' rewatch podcast that has now concluded its run! No better time to catch up on the rewatch of the show and the podcast, before they delve into their new adventure 'Real Piece Of Sitcom' which will be more fun rewatch hijinks that starts in 2024. He's also part of the incredible Twitch channel, Lets Play Deathray, where they variety stream all sorts of awesome content, every night except Friday and Saturday's at 7:30 PM MST. Jake is also a published author! He wrote a segment in Bi-Visibility, which you can order here. And once again, their Extra Life link is here. You can still donate, and if they get to $2,000, Jake will have to do a Waluigi OnlyFans. Who DOESN'T want to see that! Every bit counts, lets make it happen! David also comes in, fashionably late. His links are the same as Jake's links. Click here for the full playlist. Please also excuse the lack of normal links in this post, there were too many to include both from a time and character limit standpoint, so please see the playlist for access to the artists. We went in alphabetical order, talking about: At The Christmas Ball - 78rpm version - Bessie Smith (Eric's) Carol Of The Bells - August Burns Red (Jared) Chiron Beta Prime - Jonathan Coulton (Jake) Cozy Little Christmas - Katy Perry (Mark) We play a special holiday game with curated trivia (which went much worse than expected), general Christmas trivia (which went about as expected), and wrapped up with The Cramps Or Krampus (which was fun for exactly me and me alone). If you would like to hear the definitive File Under Playlist with every song featured in our episodes, you can find that here. If you, or a loved one, is, or has been affected by sexual violence, please know that there are good people and organizations in the world that can offer help. RAINN is the nation's largest anti-sexual violence organization. NSVRC (national sexual violence research center) has resources to help victims, and, importantly, tips on prevention and warning signs. SPSAmerica is America's leading suicide prevention network. If you have the means to donate, please do so. Every little bit helps. If you would like to e-mail the show, you may do so at [email protected]. You can follow us on Twitter and vote in our polls, @FileUnderPod.
