S2: E6: Trees by Rivers

In this episode, Pastor Rhonda and Pastor Seth discuss the lectionary passages, looking at the theme of trust and how it relates to all the passages. Most of the passages include themes of good vs evil, righteous vs wickedness, and blessing vs curses. So many times it is easy to focus on the negative sides of these comparisons, instead of focusing on the positive and how it affects our lives. To live goodness and righteousness, means that we do trust in God for all things and look to Him to be the leader and guider of our lives. When this is done, then blessings will come as our lives become a response to the goodness of God and we will care about the things that God does care about. We can trust in Jesus though, as He is the one who has stepped into our lives. We hope you enjoy this conversation.
