The Ten Commandments: Episode EightIn the second season of Red River Reformed, we will be discussing the Ten Commandments through the lens of their original meaning, their fulfilment in the New Testament, and their ongoing application for us today. In this episode we discuss the sixth commandment. The sixth commandment sets the basis for our relationship and obligation to other persons, who are made in the image of God and whose lives are given and preserved by God. Murder, the willful and unjust taking of human life, bears serious consequences because the person who violates this command sets themselves up as God and destroys his image in the world.
