She was joined by Ashley Michael, one of the youth leaders, and Lisa Morehead-Hillman, a manager in the Tribe’s Department of Natural Resources. They discussed how Tribes are uniquely posed to address their own food insecurity issues in ways that are empowering and healthy, as well as the importance of empowering youth.
