In this week’s episode, I speak to Melissa Fraterrigo, whose new book, The Perils of Girlhood, is a memoir in essays about how we teach girls to live in this world — both from her own perspective through her experiences as a young girl, and as a mother to girls.Melissa also wrote the novel Glory Days and a short story collection, The Longest Pregnancy.
