The lady that brought Poetry back into the spotlight! At just 22 years old Charly has done some insanely impressive creative jobs; from starting as a stylist at Burberry to Producing ‘The Trews’ with Russell Brand. ELLE magazine even named her one of their 20 ‘Power Players’ to watch out for in 2018. Last January Charly wrote a poem each day on her Instagram and the reception was so huge she landed a publishing deal! ‘She Must Be Mad’ is Charly’s exceptionally honest debut poetry book exploring the agony of being a modern day woman; love, body image and mental health.  Popping round to the beautiful cottage she shares with her Mum, dog and rescued rabbit Peanut, Charly let us know what it’s really like living in your childhood bedroom and gave a personal reading from her book about a subject we all have an opinion on…You can listen along, and see photos of the items we talk about in this episode, on Acast.
