S2 Ep. 8 - Godly Men pt.2 - Blue Collar Workers

The average man of God is not a soldier or a pastor in his profession.  There is definitely a place for those, but this episode is about the normal everyday follower of Jesus Christ.  What makes us Godly mechanics, cooks, concrete workers, welders, etc?  What does the Bible say about the average Joe?   Believe it or not, the Bible says quite a lot about the right work ethic, the wisdom, the honor, and the duty of working a regular job.  Don't forget that Jesus learned how to be a carpenter at the feet of his earthly father as he grew up.  Remember that people often questioned how he was so smart about the things of God when he was "only a carpenter's son".   There are a few things the Bible definitely encourages you to do in your chosen profession, as a man.  This podcast shares the specific verses that explain the need for strength and a good work ethic.  You can fulfill your duty as a man, and be a righteous man, as a blue collar worker.  You should strive to have the right kind of pride in the abilities that God has given you and your reputation among men for your work ethic.
