S2 EP1: Paul's Story - Cerebral Palsy And Believing Our Self Worth

from Well, That F*cked Me Up! Surviving Life Changing Events. · host Luke Colson and Kyle Wise

Send us Fan MailWhat an episode to kick off Season 2! Paul was born with Cerebral Palsy, a condition caused by brain damage during his birth. As a baby he had limited movement on one side, and after diagnosis, his mother was told to expect Paul to live his life in a wheel chair. She didn't stop with that diagnosis, and found a doctor who would help Paul to walk! In school, having a limp and holding one of his arms at all times, he was bullied, and to add to that, he was told by his School Principle that he wouldn't amount to much and 'wasn't college material'.. So begins the come back of the century. Paul's story is so very inspiring, and his words of hope for anyone struggling are really worth a listen.
