S2 Ep180: Father Figure Golf Celebration

Those Weekend Golf Guys are always up for doing some good for their neighborhood. Back on Father’s day, a local group in Louisville called the 3AGA (African American Amateur Golf Association) held a Father’s day special event at one of Louisville’s outstanding City Owned Golf Courses, Shawnee Golf Course. The idea of the event was, in conjunction with The First Tee of Louisville, was to introduce neighborhood kids to the game of golf. They promoted it as a “Father Figure Day” celebration. Fathers, Uncles, Granddads and even next door neighbors; all father figures in the lives of these kids, brought the kids to the course to introduce them to the fun of the game.
