S2 Ep1827: Launch of the Employment Gap Report: Out of Sight – Out of Work, Diane Lightfoot

On Monday 13 July 2026 representatives from across the sight loss sector along with a number of employers and visually impaired people came together at the House of Lords for the launch of the Employment Gap Report:  Out of Sight – Out of Work by Lord Holmes which is making recommendations for Government and the Department of Work and Pensions to bridge the gap in employment for blind and partially sighted people. RNIB Connect Radio’s Toby Davey was at the launch event and caught up with Diane Lightfoot from the Business Disability Forum to find out more about the BDF and her thoughts on the report and its recommendations.(Image shows the RNIB Connect Radio logo.
