He is best known as co-host of "Stoney and Wojo" on WDFN-AM from 1994 to 2009, then became the morning show host at WXYT-FM from 2009 until 2024. Stoney teamed with the great, dearly departed Jamie Samuelson on 97.1 He appears frequently on the local Fox 2's SportsVerks with the lovely and talented Dan Miller. Mike hails from Philly and heals from an affair in Atlanta. Prior to his Detroit move, he produced the syndicated George Michael's Sports (not Sex) Machine out of DC, before moving to Detroit to work with Bernie Smilovitz' and produce at Local 4 in Detroit. He teamed with Mitch Albom on FM radio, leading him to WDFN and the rest is his story. Stoney is married to the lovey Cindy and is the father of twin daughters.
