S2 - EP2 The First Steps After Betrayal

from Love Your REAL Life Podcast

In today's episode, we're walking through one of the hardest and most important moments in your healing journey: those first fragile steps after betrayal. Whether you're reeling from infidelity, broken trust, or another kind of deep disappointment, this episode is here to help you find your footing again. Together, we'll walk through five gentle steps to help you begin stabilizing: naming what's happened, grounding your body, giving yourself permission to pause, finding safe support, and choosing one small next step forward. You'll also hear reflection prompts you can use right away to reconnect with your body, your truth, and your strength, so you can begin to heal, even if you don't yet know how. Quote: "Naming what's happening doesn't make it worse—it gives you back your power." If your world feels cracked wide open right now, know this: you are not alone, and you do not have to have it all figured out today. Listen in, take a breath, and let this be your first step toward loving your real life again. As a holistic nurse and wellness coach, I weave together mindful nutrition, movement, mindset work, and nervous system regulation to help women reconnect with their bodies and their inner strength. While my heart is in guiding women through the healing process after betrayal, I also work with clients on a wide range of wellness goals—helping them create sustainable routines and habits that align with their values and vision for a thriving life. For those interested, I offer InBody scanning to measure body composition (muscle, fat, and water). This tool provides a clear snapshot of physical health, helping to guide balanced nutrition, intentional movement, and overall well-being. Outside of my work, I'm married to my soulmate, Seth, and I'm blessed to be a mom, stepmom, grandma, and mother-in-law. Family time is at the top of my list. I also have amazing friends and get together regularly with them, supper club, book club, backpacking & hiking, daily walks, yoga, reading, traveling to exciting places, creative projects, and organizing spaces to create a cozy, welcoming home. ***Making any lifestyle changes is from my own experience and/or other clients personal experiences and may not be suited for you. It is strongly recommended that you consult with your health professional before making changes in your own life. By engaging in anything that I talk about, you agree that you do so at your own risk.
