S2 EP23: Leigh's Story - 16 Year Old Son's Terrifying Psychosis

Send us Fan MailIn this heartbreaking and raw episode, Leigh describes the events that led to her son having a total psychotic break at the age of just 16. Leigh's Son, Mark, had recently moved to China with his Dad. Leigh lived in England and It had been hard letting Mark go to live so far away as a young teen. One morning she came home to an onslaught of messages that her son was having some sort of breakdown. Visa and travel issues ensued but she was finally able to collect him in China, and bring him back to the UK for medical help. Leigh described her son at this point as a totally unrecognizable human being. Paranoid and delusional,  scared of colors and sounds. Like an Alien in another body! Leigh describes the next 7 years, bringing up to present day, and lives in hope for her son, that he will one day, once again, lead a normal life.
