Our next podcast guest, offering her perspectives on some of the themes and conversations coming out of COP 26, is Natalie Gupta, Director of Bunkering – Value Chain Partnerships, at Yara Clean Ammonia. In discussion with Mark Williams, Natalie gives an overview of Yara’s operations and introduces the company’s newly established business unit, Yara Clean Ammonia. She also talks about ammonia as a molecule, a commodity, and as a shipping fuel. At Yara, Natalie is responsible for supporting the development of the ammonia bunker market. Previously, she worked as an international consultant in the maritime industry with a focus on ports, trade facilitation and decarbonisation of the industry. She has a PhD in development economics and an MSc in finance and financial law.
