In this fascinating episode, Rachel explains how the absence of her father's love left her feeling rejected and worthless, and played a huge role in her future relationships. Seeking validation and acceptance would result in Rachel getting involved with an abusive partner,  and stuck in a relationship she just didn't know how to escape from.
