Born into the Republican, Church going, evangelical community, Fawn was front and centre at Political and Religious events with her parents, where she described everything revolving around the 'powerful men in the room'. She was taught to respect and obey men, as a rule, that was her job.  After struggling with her own relationships, and an abusive fiancee, she had a realization that she could no longer tow the line with such beliefs and indoctrinations, and she started the journey of un-tethering herself from all that she had known. The trauma of her religious upbringing left her fearful of love and perpetually single.
