S2 Ep6: Internal Condom LUWI

from PodcastDX Hosted by PodcastDX

This week we speak with Lisa Kinsella is the Founder & CEO of LUWI (stands for Let Us Wear It). LUWI is the opposite-of-a-condom made for women. Following a breast cancer diagnosis, divorce and reorganization of her life, Kinsella followed the advice of physicians to avoid contraceptives with hormones. The mother of two was seeking a pill or device that would be effective at preventing pregnancy and sexually transmitted diseases. She soon discovered there were no women centric options on the market. She created LUWI, easy to use, hormone-free, latex-free protection that when inserted ahead of time becomes nearly undetectable. She and her team are on a mission to give women the power and agency to control their own health. Available in Europe today via getLuwi.com and coming soon to the US.
