S2: Episode 68: The Hunger (1983)

from The Horrorble People's Podcast · host Horrorble People's Network

Where do we begin?! The aesthetics? The plot?! The CAST?! What is perhaps our biggest WTF so far this season, Anthony and Alix tackle Tony Scott's debut film THE HUNGER from 1983. Why did this movie look like a music video the entire time? Is that SERIOUSLY DAVID BOWIE? And yes... Bauhaus does make an appearance. There's a lot to unpack here and we aren't sure if it's for the better. The team gives you a plot synopsis first thing this time so you don't have to watch this movie for yourself - although Alix thinks you owe it to your 80's Goth sensibilities to give it a gander. Susan Sarandon wants you give us 5 Stars on iTunes, don't disappoint the woman. Classic Horror 2 by Kevin MacLeod Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License
