S2 Eps 7 - Young Hearts, Run Free - Hello 2021 - 15 Jan 2021

We've held back the release of our next planned podcast, this week we were rocked by the news of the passing of John Kynaston. John was a well kent face in the ultra running community, in fact he was a well kent face in lots of communities. Our planned next podcast had already been recorded when we heard the extremely sad news about John. Like many other of our podcasts, John was mentioned in it. Like others who had the privilege to meet or chat to John we were both infected by his enthusiasm and passion for the sport and for the outdoors in general. John was an absolute colossus of a man and his energy for life will be sadly missed by many. We have a chat about John in recognition of what he meant to us and we're sure we echo others in saying how deeply he will be missed by the hundreds and thousands of people he motivated and inspired. We also have a chat about our own hopes and plans for 2021, what our targets are and how we intend achieving those. It's been a snowy week here in Perthshire so we suss out how we adapt our individual running schedules to meet the wintery conditions.
