S2E1: Basal Cell Carcinoma (BCC)

BCCs are one of the keratinocyte carcinomas, the other being SCC. These are cancers which arise from keratinocytes, the cells which make up a vast majority of the epidermis. BCCs are the most common type of skin cancer. In fact, BCCs are the most common type of cancer, period.
