Joining him is Alicia Dietz, a former Blackhawk helicopter pilot in the US Army and now professional artist and maker based out of Richmond, VA.. She is a graduate of Ohio University and Virginia Commonwealth University and has channeled her diverse background as a veteran, journalism, and art major to become one of Richmond's finest artists and woodworker. She is using her experience in the US Army, to give a lasting voice to fallen soldiers, and is using her fearlessness to try new materials and designs in both her art and furniture designs.In this week's podcast Ron & Alicia will discuss her life, her military background and training and how this intertwines with her work as a professional artist.
