S2E10-Dream to Rise: How Was I Able to Overcome Self-Sabotage? - Interview with Katie Tschida

from Dream to Rise · host Cynthia Encinas-Concordia

“Why do I keep doing this?” “How does this keep happening to me?” You might ask yourself these questions when you feel trapped in patterns that create problems in your life and keep you from achieving your goals. Although you try to make changes and disrupt these patterns, somehow you end up in the same place, again and again. If this sounds familiar, you could be sabotaging yourself. Self-sabotage refers to behaviors or thought patterns that hold you back and prevent you from doing what you want to do. This is what many people do: They stop before they even start, or they start something new and don’t continue to follow through, and this is because of our “emotional glue.” What’s emotional glue? Unresolved issues “buried” in us; it’s where our energy patterning is frozen in time, and it’s from where we’re filtering and dictating our lives.  Let us listen to Katie Tschida, a military veteran, who was sabotaging herself because she’s not sure whether she’ll make it at the Army even though she did farm work. Here's Katie.
