In a very unusual episode, the Dead Boys take a step back from the lighthearted tone of the average show and get very serious, and very real, with Passolini's 1975 art-horror polemic "Salò, or the 120 Days of Sodom". Discussions of current events, power dynamics, politics, religion, and abuse are all on the table, and uncomfortable topics abound as Ian, Dan, and Ryan wrestle with their own reactions to a very difficult film and how it makes them feel about modern society and vice versa.
