Manaileng is an admitted attorney of the High Court of South Africa. She has had an illustrious career having represented Heads of State, politicians, world renowned businessmen and women, multi-national corporations, government, state owned entities and entertainers (musicians, actors, producers, influencers and content creators). She has worked in both private practice and corporate, including Africa’s largest collective management organization, which has significantly diversified her skill set as a well rounded and knowledgeable legal practitioner. Manaileng has extensive experience in commercial law, entertainment law, intellectual property law and aspects of information technology law. Manaileng’s journey in providing legal services to the creative industry began in 2014 when she formed her legal consultancy, Yateletata Services (Pty) Ltd, which is a specialist legal advisory company providing services to the creative industry and SMME’s. Manaileng has participated in numerous programmed and panels geared towards educating the creative industry especially on music licensing, intellectual property and contractual matters applicable to the entertainment and creative industry.
