//cws for discussion of rape allegation, 11:30-13:20; for sexual abuse and related injuries, 39:00-58:00. Kristin Hayter released a short statement alongside an extensive account of the abuse which can be found here - same thorough content warnings apply https://docs.google.com/document/d/1RashVW63u0JVl2WhjeUTo3nrnPgh4_sQpKF2j-6_iy0/ It's a big boy episode this time on Hot Singles as we work through some fucking cool, wild records. From punk to desolate American to whatever the fuck black midi are up to, we spend this episode getting mad, getting excited, disagreeing and ripping each other to shreds. It rules. The albums are Diaspora Problems by Soul Glo, SINNER GET READY by Lingua Ignota and Cavalcade by black midi. Next up, Autumn and Alexis are going to be joined by our dear friend Mark to talk through the rather literally titled 69 Love Songs by The Magnetic Fields.
