S2E32 with guest Kassy Ola

The TyePod Thursday episode features a conversation with Kassy Ola (@oceanlighthouse) who I actually met through a group disability podcast discussion hosted by @autistic_advocate_for_crohns about a year ago. Since then we have started a collaborative project with other members of the disability community in the works that we’re excited to share!Kassy also talks about living with hypermobile Ehlers Danlos Syndrome, discusses her mental health journey, including misdiagnoses and the impact of improper medication. We then introduce "Voices Assembled for Change", an initiative aimed at improving services and awareness for people with disabilities, focusing on wheelchair accessibility, workplace training, and housing among other items. The goal is to bridge gaps in understanding and support, advocating for systemic changes and public and government support. This episode is in my bio!
