N.W.A. is one of the greatest groups of all time. The group was a revolution all by themselves. N.W.A started a whole subgenre of rap whether you call it gangsta rap or reality rap as the group calls it. With the mind of Eazy E, the production of Dr. Dre and DJ Yella and the pen of Ice Cube, MC Ren and non group member The D.O.C. the group was destined for greatness. Getting on they immediately caused panic and eire from police and politicians alike. They got very little radio play at first but with police complaining and the FBI sending letters they sold well over a million records in the first year.
