Les Stroud is a filmmaker, musician, and author best known for Survivorman, the pioneering documentary series that launched Survival Television as a genre. He is also the author of the new children’s book Wild Outside: Around the World with Survivorman and the creator of the forthcoming PBS special Surviving Disasters with Les Stroud.
