S2E7 Interview with Miss Cecillia Wong from Power Knot

Our today's guest is super cool. She was born in Silicon Valley and is currently getting an MBA from Santa Clara University. She's here to talk about Power Knot, a company in California that manufactures biodigesters. Biodigesters divert food from landfills and convert it into grey water that can safely return to the environment. Greywater is all the streams of water from households or offices except wastewater if you don't know. This greywater once commercially treated can go back to the environment! Their digesters can process 20kg-1000kg of food waste in corporate and military settings. We've spoken before about how important food waste is to sustainability earlier in the podcast, so you'd know how absolutely amazing that is. If that's not cool enough already, they've reduced 6300 tonnes of organic waste from the landfill in 2020! Power Knot now has offices in the US, UK, UAE and Australia. We hope they come to India soon. It's companies like Power Knot that make a big difference in the amount of waste created commercially, and we're so happy to have their Marketing Manager on our podcast to tell us more.
