S2E8 WGA with Adele Bertei

This week Anne and Eamon go for a good old fashioned dig in a real live record store. We discover what is important about a record shop, go shoulder to shoulder in the disco section and discuss Record Store Day now that it's a fixture. Our guest is the unbelievably talented singer, songwriter, author and actress Adele Bertie. Founder member of The Bloods, singer and songwriter who has written and recorded with The Contortions, The Pointer Sisters, Thomas Dolby and Scritti Politti to name but a few. She is also an accomplished writer with a number of books under her name including the autobiographical 'Peter and the Wolves' and music biography 'Why Labelle Matters'. She is a wise woman speaking very honestly. You can find out more about Adele at her website: https://www.adelebertei.com/ And here is the trailer for the film Anne mentions: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_yUYIbUSgFs Eldica Records is best expierienced physically but their instagram is killer. https://www.instagram.com/eldica_records Record Store Day is everyday fam.
