This week on Show Me the Way, I’m joined by my newer friend and referral partner, Kristina Wittner. Over the past few months, Kristina and I have grown closer, and when she told me she had a story she wanted to share, I knew it would be meaningful. After some back-and-forth to find the right time, we finally made it happen—and, as always, the timing was just right.Kristina opens up about the loss of her best friend, Tina, who passed away from cancer nearly a year ago. Tina had always been outgoing and full of energy, but her diagnosis changed her—she became more withdrawn and private, even with her family. Kristina never gave up on her friend and did everything she could to support her, but she also realized how deeply the experience affected her own emotional health.Through therapy, faith, and the love of her Mary Kay community, friends, and family, Kristina found strength and light through her grief. Today, she continues to run a thriving Mary Kay business, stays active in networking (including the group we share!), and chooses daily to pursue joy and connection.Kristina leaves us with powerful reminders—to live the life we’re meant to live, go after our joy, and take care of ourselves.
