S3 Bonus Episode – Healing Waves and Shamanic Soul Retrieval with Dr Paula Petry

from Alive and Loving It

Dr Paula Petry met Karen Mellers whilst travelling in the UK in search of new partnerships to open up her profound healing work with individuals and groups. Paula’s own exploration of the spiritual side of life started as a result of deep personal loss following the death of her daughter. Whilst psychology was profoundly helpful at her time of greatest grief it did not answer the big questions. Where do we go when we die?  Will I see my daughter again? What do I need to learn from her death? This led her to a meeting with a medium which changed absolutely everything. She came to understand that we can use our inner eye to see beyond the veil of death and also into the deeper aspects of our psyche to understand and heal what is held there.  This took Paula into the academic study of consciousness, quantum physics, transpersonal psychology and spirituality and into her own development as a Shamanic Energy Healer.  She explains how this life of study and practice now informs her retreats and her newest approach called ‘Healing Waves’.  Key  topics Paula Petry's journey from academia to shamanic healing The role of grief and loss in spiritual awakening Shamanic practices and the interconnected web of life The science and mystery of energy, quantum physics, and consciousness Healing retreats and the power of community for women  Sound bites "Shadow work takes a lot of courage" "I became able to commune with my daughter" "I now know that life continues after death" Chapters 00:00 The Magical Meeting with Karen at Broughton Hall 03:55 The Journey of Loss and Discovery 09:51 Understanding Life After Death 16:05 The Intersection of Shamanism and Psychology 22:10 Creating Meaning Through Connection 27:12 The Sacred Contract of Life's Journey 28:40 Shamanic Insights: Healing Through the Invisible 31:10 Tracking Wounds: The Power of Storytelling 35:45 Empowerment Through Shamanic Work 37:09 Retreats: A Journey to Self-Discovery 42:11 Healing Waves: Connecting with the Invisible 45:53 Re-remembering Our Inner Power ✨ Enjoy an exclusive 15% discount for our Alive and Loving It community with the code ALIVEPOD-15 at checkout.
