– The DooDoo Diva's Smells Like Money Podcast– Nothing Personal, It’s Just Business or is It?  With Chad Kalland Listen to this latest episode of “The DooDoo Diva's Smells like Money Podcast” where Chad Kalland,Chief Executive Officer at Vecta Environmental Services talks about a LinkedIn article that he posted with the Title “It’s nothing personal, It’s just business”. He shared his personal experience regarding the said article and his own take on that famous line. He said when he hears those words it’s like you’re saying that our relationship is not important, the business is important, and that’s just not the way that he’s been successful in his business. Suzan also added that it almost sounds like a break up when those lines were said, Chad even likened it to the phrase “It’s not you, It’s me. They also talked about why are people leaving companies and why recruiting and retaining talent is becoming more and more challenging. Chad believes that people leave jobs where they don’t feel like they belong. If they felt a personal attachment to our business, they'd be less likely to leave for a dollar an hour. He advised that our job as leaders is to engage our employees, to make them feel part of something bigger than just a pay check.
