S3 E15 - Celebrating Pride with QUIRK-E

Our 65th Zoomcast (July 30, 2021); Charlotte acknowledges that we are previewing and creatively acknowledging the onset of PRIDE Week in Vancouver this weekend. Some members of our podcast group are also members of QUIRK-E the QUeer wRiting and Imaging Kollective for Elders. We discussed the stories written by Cyndia, Don, and River; a mini history of PRIDE and its new directions from Chris. We also discussed the many applications for QUIRK-E’s new Zine about overcoming Black Racism in Canada. Next month we begin Awesome August” with explorations of Extended or Alternative Health, Chair Yoga, an sample workshops being considered for dual presentation on Zoom.
