S3 E4: Steiner vs. The Brotherhood

Could there really be some group of people who literally engage in rituals, ceremonies, and other occult practices in order to harness some sort of power, i.e. cast magic spells? Sure, no doubt - there's freaks who'll do anything. But could these "magic spells," actually be working? Woo people will often make claims that secret elite cults are using occult powers to control all of humanity. This is an intriguing conspiracy theory, but I can rarely find any smoking gun evidence. Just whispers and hints here and there. Well, today's author spoke about such groups, he called them the brotherhood of the Left hand path, engaging in just these types of practices to maintain power over the human race. And he spoke about these groups as long ago as 1917. And he might have actually known a thing or two about occultists because he had been one of them.
