The unbeliever, without God, is in the rabbit hole and cannot be certain about how to get out, nor certain about anything. Our humanity brings us to a realization that it is impossible to be anything other than dependent. Nevertheless, humans are the ones crying out that they are independent. It is impossible to derive life from anything other than God.
