S3 E41: Founder of Alchemist Consulting LLC, Dr. Leah Johnson

Dr. Leah Johnson is a Medical Cannabis Specialist & Clinical Pharmacist who is the owner & founder of Alchemist Consulting LLC. She believes that complete physical/mental health & well-being can be influenced by the utilization of cannabis, as well as other herbal remedies and supplements in conjunction with pharmaceutical medications. Dr. Leah feels that most patients are given too many & often inappropriate prescription medications, while not being given the knowledge for utilizing effective herbals & supplements to reduce pill burden. In an effort to improve the overall health & well-being of patients, Dr. Leah works with patients & their healthcare providers throughout the country to help reduce pill burden & provide recommendations on alternative therapy. She also works with cannabis companies to advise them on formulations & speaks at medical conferences to help educate providers & patients on the benefits of utilizing cannabis medicine therapy. Dr. Leah holds a Doctorate degree in Pharmacy from the Massachusetts College of Pharmacy & Health Sciences & a Masters degree in Medical Cannabis Science & Therapeutics from the University of Maryland School of Pharmacy. She is a board member of multiple medical cannabis & healthcare organizations including the Pharmacists' Cannabis Coalition of California, where she presents education on Ryan's Law.
