from Things You Learn in Therapy · host Beth Trammell PhD, HSPP

Send us Fan MailDr. Akua Boateng came back to the podcast to talk about the power of friendship, with a particular bend toward self-compassion and self-inquiry. Her perspective on "you are new at this" when it comes to understanding our place in specific friendships was SO GOOD. In fact, there were so many moments in this episode where I was taking notes for my own life! One of my favorite quotes from this episode was "our resting position should remind people of our humanness." WHAT?!!? That's just amazing profound and simply breathtaking.
