S3, E7 | Build Tech the Easy Way: Inside Orangeleaf Consulting with Ellice Ng

from Hello Mentor · host Hiredly

Ellice Ng (also known as Ellice Hendricks-Ng) is the co-founder and CEO of Orangeleaf Consulting, a Malaysia-born low-code consultancy helping enterprises modernize fast without heavy coding. Founded in 2018, Orangeleaf now serves clients across Malaysia and is expanding into Singapore, Japan and the Netherlands. A former PR practitioner, Ellice pivoted into tech to close the gap between business teams and software delivery. Orangeleaf specializes in Mendix low-code, pairing enterprise rigor with visual development so non-technical teams can ship working apps in weeks, not months. The firm is an official Mendix partner and academy trainer. In 2024 she launched DoReMi, a digital platform that connects orphaned and vulnerable youth with mentors, counselors, sponsors, adoptive families and job opportunities using the same product mindset she applies with corporate clients. The mission is personal, Ellice grew up as an orphan and is determined to build tools that give the next generation stability and choice. Under her leadership, Orangeleaf has formed cross-border partnerships to accelerate digital transformation (including in Japan), underscoring the team’s playbook: modernize legacy systems, train client teams and hand over solutions they can run themselves. Ellice’s work has drawn regional recognition, including Tatler Asia’s Front & Female (Malaysia) honors in 2025, spotlighting her dual focus on enterprise innovation and technology for good. Grounded and mission-driven, she’s building a company where speed, structure and empathy coexist, shipping real outcomes for clients while opening real doors for young people who need them most.
