S3: E7: So I Send You

In this episode, Pastor Rhonda and Pastor Seth discuss this weeks lectionary passage focusing on the John passage. In this passage, Jesus reveals Himself to His disciples after His death. This is the first time this has happened. Jesus ushers in peace to the midst of the chaotic situation. He then breathes the spirit upon them and tells them that He is sending them into the world. One of the disciples was not there though. The others told Thomas, but he found it hard to believe. Jesus did not leave him in the dark though and later showed up and allowed Thomas to experience His presence. This story is so familiar, but we hope you enjoy some of the different angles we took as we pursued truth within.
