Michaela returned home to her apartment she shared with her husband in the morning hours of November 15, 2024 and within just a few hours of arriving, she was found deceased. The investigating agency classified the case as a suicide, ignoring defensive wounds to Michaela's wrists and neck. Michaela was shot as well as beaten.
