S3 Ep. 40 – Creation pt.3 - More Myths

Last episode we covered the myths of other humans created by God, and the myth that Adam had another wife before Eve called Lilith. This episode covers the Gap Theory and the Big Bang. Remember, that science is supposed to be the study of the way things ARE, not the way we want them to be, we wish they were, or the way we were told as a child that it must be. The scientific method is the empirical (based on observation or experience) way of testing and forming a hypothesis that can be retested by others to learn about the LAWS of nature. This means that the origins of the universe itself cannot ever by scientifically explained or proven. The only way to scientifically prove that would be to start with nothing and no one, and watch it happen again, which is impossible. ANY theory of the origin of the universe is hypothetical OPINION and cannot be science. If argued dogmatically, then it is beyond opinion and has become a FAITH for that person. This puts us in the realm of religion, not science.
