S3 EP 66 : There's No Crying In Lifting....

from Really Riley · host Riley Couture

In most situations I am never afraid to wear my heart on my sleeve and have a good cry out, that is unless I just had my lashes done. But in the gym, that is the place where all of the rest of the world goes away and I am free to think of nothing else. For one hour I can switch off all of my worries, anxieties, and insecurities and be the strong woman I know I am. But lately there have been more values than peaks with my fitness journey as whenever my fitness goes out the window, my mental health isn't too far behind. However, true to my #WeGotThis mantra I put my nig girl underoos on last week and did something in the gym that I've been working towards for 5 years. In this episode I sat down with my husband Marshall to talk about how realizing that in the gym, the mind is so much more powerful than the body is the biggest flex you can ever get.
